The Cybersecurity Law Center combines artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and law to tranform societies. The center is interested in 2 main areas: 1) Data Security; 2) Digital Innovation. In data security the center is interested in the risks involved when generating and sharing personal data, confidential data, and national security data through information technology platforms in general, and social media in particular. In digital innovation, the center studies the role of law, business, policy, and regulation in the innovation process, and the role of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs in the process of law and policy-making. The goal of the center is to bring together a diverse group of academic scholars from law, engineering, business, economics, sociology, and other fields for a robust discussion that we hope will facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration.
